ABSTRACT: This research examined the impact of gender-neutral education in early childhood settings. The objectives were to: (1) evaluate the influence of gender-neutral practices on children's self-expression, (2) assess the role of these practices in reducing gender stereotypes, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of gender-neutral education on social equality. A survey design was employed to gather data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with gender-neutral education. A sample size of 140 participants was selected using purposive sampling. The case study focused on early childhood education centers in Rivers State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that gender-neutral education significantly improved children's self-expression, reduced gender stereotypes, and promoted social equality. Long-term benefits included more inclusive and equitable social interactions. It was recommended that early childhood education programs adopt gender-neutral practices and provide training for educators to support the development of an inclusive learning environment.
